Ventilation Systems, LLC specializes in axial fans and gravity ventilators combining product experience of former companies Ventilation Systems Inc. and before that, Hirschman-Pohle. The VS powered products have been upgraded to provide greater energy efficiency and reduced sound levels.
Ventilation Systems, LLC is pleased to partner with Air-Therm Inc. one of the premier manufacturers of gravity ventilators and wall louvers in North America.
Ventilation Systems and Air-Therm products are worthy of industrial applications; providing axial fans, gravity ventilators and louvers designed for durability. We offer solutions for any building ventilation method including: gravity ventilation, exhaust-power ventilation or pressure gravity.
The HLS ventilator provides low internal resistance and very efficient airflow with vertical discharge. Butterfly dampers open during fan operation and close automatically upon shutdown. The HLS is available in direct, belt, and isolated drive. Units are constructed of basic or specialty metals and a variety of coatings are available. Mounting base styles are available to accommodate curb, ridge, or single sloped roof.
The CAH ventilator is designed with considerable free area for reduced pressure drop. It is available in direct or belt/isolated belt driven arrangements. Durable hinged hood construction may be coated steel, aluminum, stainless steel; special finishes are available. Accessories include screen openings gravity or motorized dampers and intake air filters.
The aerodynamic design of the VG gravity ventilator offers low resistance to natural airflow due to stack height and temperature difference. Standard unit lengths run in 10 foot intervals with partials to suit any total length. Units may be provided with manual or motor operated dampers and bird screen.
Material options: hot dip galvanized steel, zinc aluminum coated steel, Galvanneal painted, aluminum, or FRP.
Frames and weld plates: carbon steel prime- painted, with or without finish coat, hot dip galvanized after fabrication, stainless steel.
The combination of low overall height and up to 47% (size dependent) minimum free area make the low profile ventilator a practical choice. Units are often combined to make a continuous run. Available materials of construction and equipment options are similar to those for the VG units.
Wall fans are available in direct or belt driven arrangements. Construction features include heavy gauge painted or hot dip coated panels, steel plate motor and/or bearing support(s) and tubular steel frame. Accesories include hoods, gravity or motorized dampers and intake air filters.
The Air Balancer is a combination unit which is used to exhaust plant air, supply fresh air or recirculate ceiling air. Available options include filters, directional discharges and motorized positioning dampers. Units are direct driven with reversible airflow propellers.
Tubeaxial fans are available in direct drive for clean air and belt drive for hot or contaminated air applications. Units are constructed of heavy gauge steel housing and flanged collars. Other materials and special coatings are available. Options may include support legs, mounting brackets, inlet cone or outlet reducing transition for spot cooling application.
The round version employees a traditional stack cap and wind band arrangement while the rectangular units are fully hooded with bird screened openings. A pragmatic solution using developed designs and standard materials.
